Phlebotomy
The Phlebotomy Program at Southwest Technical College prepares the student through coursework and practicum to become certified in the National Healthcare Association as a Phlebotomist. Coursework and practicums prepare you to acquire the knowledge and skills to collect blood and other specimens for hospitals, blood banks, and other health care facilities. With successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the Phlebotomy Technician Certification with the National Healthcare Association.Prerequisites :

- Southwest Technical College Certificate of Program Completion
Industry Certification:
- Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to obtain national certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician with National Healthcare Association (NHA).
