SouthwestTech_Icon_HealthProfessionsWould you like to work in a fast-paced and interactive environment helping provide critical treatments and remedies? The Pharmacy Technician program at Southwest Technical College trains you for counting, preparing, and stocking medications for a variety of scenarios. Pharmacy Technicians work in hospitals, retail pharmacies, medication manufacturing, research labs, and rehab facilities. Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible to obtain national certification from PCTB or EXCPT.

Program Length: 17 Credit Hours
This program can be completed in approximately 10 months, based on enrollment of 15 hours per week. If possible, students are encouraged to enroll in more hours per week to graduate faster.

• Southwest Technical College Certificate of Program Completion

Industry Certification:
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to obtain national certification from PCTB or EXCPT.

The STECH Pharmacy Technician program is accredited for Entry and Advanced level Pharmacy Technicians by the ASHP/ACPE (The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education).
