Would you like to work in a fast-paced and interactive environment helping provide critical treatments and remedies? The Pharmacy Technician program at Southwest Technical College trains you for counting, preparing, and stocking medications for a variety of scenarios. Pharmacy Technicians work in hospitals, retail pharmacies, medication manufacturing, research labs, and rehab facilities. Upon completion of this program, you will be eligible to obtain national certification from PCTB or EXCPT.

Industry Certification:
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to obtain national certification from PCTB or EXCPT.

We use PioneerRx Pharmacy Software to allow our students to learn in a real-world environment using the most installed software for independent pharmacies. Students enhance their clinical and functional skills by training in this pharmacy system.
