The Automotive Technician Program at Southwest Technical College opened its doors to hundreds of community members on May 20, 2022 for the annual Car & Truck Show. This year the show featured around 40 classic cars that had been restored by local community members. One of these cars was brought in by a past student who enjoyed showcasing the car so much the year before that he decided to bring it back along with an additional car. Guests were also able to enjoy some pizza and flavored soda from a soda bar as they inspected the cars.
The winners of the 2022 Car & Truck show include:
- Honorable Mention, Bill Tatti, 73 Bronco
- Honorable Mention, Mike Brask, 69 Camaro
- Best in Show, Dean Donteleone, GT350 Mustang
