Plumbing Apprenticeship

The Plumbing Apprenticeship training is designed to prepare you for a career as a journeyman plumber. The four-year training is practical and to the point. Each year covers two required sessions, which include classroom and practical instruction. The training concentrates on the skills necessary to successfully pass the state journeyman test.

All classes are taught in the evening, which provides the ability for you to work for a licensed plumber during regular working hours. Students must be employed as an Apprentice Plumber and have or be in the process of obtaining an Apprentice Plumbing License prior to enrollment.  For more information on journeyman licensing and required work hours, please visit Utah’s licensing website.
