On Tuesday, May 15, 2018 and repeated again on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, Southwest Technical College will host a Community Solar Seminar from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at its main campus, located at 757 West 800 South, in Cedar City, Utah.

To help answer questions about the use of solar energy, Southwest Technical College will host two seminars covering information about solar photovoltaic (PV) technology. These presentations will focus on the perspective of a homeowner and help attendees determine whether solar is worth the cost.

Topics covered in the presentations include an overview of how solar technology works, design considerations, equipment warranties, government rebates, system costs, expected savings, and payback.

The Community Solar Seminar will take place in the Large Multipurpose Room (#109A) at Southwest Technical College on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 and repeated again on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The public is invited to attend and find out whether solar will work for them.
