Brenda Hosto, Southwest Tech Student of the Year, honored in SLC

The Southwest Tech Student of the Year, Brenda Hosto, was recognized at a special dinner in Salt Lake City, along with other high performing technical education students across the state of Utah. Brenda Hosto is a military veteran and has pursued her passion in graduating from all welding programs offered at Southwest Technical College.

As part of the visit to Salt Lake City, Brenda and her family got to spend time at the capitol building and meet with Utah’s Governor, Gary Herbert.
