Southwest Tech course offerings for students in Iron County School District.

Utah Aerospace Pathway (Manufacturing Principles/Sheet Metal)

This Utah Aerospace Pathway is taken in three parts:

  1. Manufacturing Principles – taught at CVHS
  2. Sheet Metal – taught at Southwest Tech
  3. Internship – taught at MSC Aerospace and SUU Aviation

Students are required to provide their own transportation.

Registration: To register for this course, please indicate on your high school course request form or talk with your high school counselor.

Courses, details, and fees are subject to change.  If you are a high school student and an Iron County resident, and you are unable to afford the costs associated with your Southwest Tech course(s), you may qualify for a scholarship provided by the Iron County Commission.  Please complete this simple application.
