Delayed Start

What is a delayed start?

A delayed start adjusts the beginning of the day only. Class schedules will not shift forward or extend later into the day. Any class time scheduled before the delayed start time is canceled.

For example, if the delayed start time is 10:00 a.m. and you are scheduled for class from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., you would attend from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Classes will still end at their originally scheduled time.

Students whose classes begin at or after the delayed start time should attend at their regularly scheduled time.

If the delayed start is due to inclement weather, please use your best judgment regarding travel conditions in your area. Your safety is our priority. If you determine that travel is not safe, you may utilize an administrative leave of absence. Please communicate with your instructor as soon as possible.
