Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for a full or part-time pharmacy technician to join our team!  Kanab Drug is a modern independent retail community pharmacy with soda fountain, pharmacy drive thru and gift shop.  We have been serving the Kanab and surrounding areas since 1916! We strive to help improve the health and well-being of the patients we serve.
We are open 9-6 M-F 9-2 Sat. Closed Sundays. Pharmacy Technicians rotate work stations that involve data entry for intake of new Rx’s/refills, submitting claims to insurance for those Rx’s,  correctly counting,  labeling and filling Rx’s for pharmacist verification, inventory and supply ordering/ management, shelves and pharmacy organizing/cleaning, assisting in blister packaging medications, and selling fulfilled Rx orders at the drive thru window.  Pharmacy technicians can also help administer vaccinations and help with point of care testing if certified to do so. And can receive additional Pharmacy technician advanced training if desired.

Licensed pharmacy technicians start at $17/hr  (Tech in training start at $15/hr).  Full time employees receive dental and vision insurance along with health insurance through the marketplace (we use american national insurance to help find a plan with health insurance).  We offer Simple IRA 3% company match along with paid holidays and vacation days (starting at 5 paid vacation days per year and after being with us for 5 years this increases to 10 paid vacation days).
